Garam masala originated in India, however, it is also used commonly in Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Iran . The name ‘garam’ means ‘hot’. Masala means ‘mixture of spices’.
It is made differently in different regions, but Ameen special garam masala contains the following:
Cumin, coriander, green cardamom, black cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, bay leaves, mace, star anise, fennel seeds
Garam masala is a spice mixture used for curries, lentil dishes, and soup. It has a warm and fragrant aroma.
