Mulberry- Originally from China and the Himalayas. Mulberries are the fruit from a small tree usually cultivated to feed silkworms. This use of mulberry trees began in China more than 4,700 years ago.
The berries can be eaten raw or used to make jam. They can also be used in preserves or pies.
Mulberries also may have many health benefits.
Mulberries have a sweet yet tart flavour and are similar to blackberries.
