Henna oil originates from Ancient Asia. Henna oil is made from the leaves of the henna tree. Although the same plant henna oil comes from also is used for body art and to dye fabric, the oil does not change skin or hair color.

The oil is thought to help dry, sensitive skin and may also help with sleep disorders as well as having other medicinal uses.

Henna oil has an earthy smell.
