Kamarkas - Originally from North India, kamarkas in a very rare spice that is made from the resin of the Indian Palash tree. It’s name translates to ‘tightening of waist’.
It can be used medicinally postpartum or during pregnancy (Consult with your physician before using). The powder can also be made into chewing gum. It has antioxidants. Kamarkas can also be used in many dishes.
It is odourless and has a pungent taste.
