This Privacy Policy explains how Ameen Foods Inc. ("Ameen Foods", "Ameen Spices", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and discloses your personal information when you visit ameenfoods.ca or ameenspices.ca, shop with us through the Shop app or our other sales channels, or contact us. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable privacy laws.
Information we collect
- Order information: your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and the items you buy. Payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Shopify Payments, Shop Pay and PayPal); we do not store full card numbers.
- Account and communication information: details you give us when you create an account, subscribe to emails, leave a review, or contact customer support.
- Device and usage information: browser type, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed and how you interact with our store, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use your information
- To process, ship and support your orders, including returns and refunds.
- To communicate with you about your orders and respond to your questions.
- With your consent, to send you marketing emails about new products, offers and discount codes. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- To ask for and display product reviews.
- To keep our store secure, prevent fraud, and improve our website, products and advertising.

Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for the purposes above. These include Shopify (our e-commerce platform and the Shop app), our payment processors, shipping carriers, Omnisend (email marketing), Judge.me (product reviews), and advertising and analytics partners such as Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Pinterest and Snapchat. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States and Europe, where it may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, measure site traffic and show relevant ads. Children
Our store is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
