Aloe Oil

Aloe Vera Oil is Aloe Vera extract infused into a carrier oil. It is light and slipping rather than heavy, and its scent is faint and clean, a cool green note like the inside of a freshly cut aloe leaf, mild enough that it never competes with whatever is blended into it.

It is made by infusing extract from the leaf of Aloe barbadensis into a base oil, so the finished oil carries the light, fresh character of the aloe plant in a spreadable form.

Aloe Vera Oil is also sold as Aloe Infused Oil or Aloe Vera Carrier Oil. Aloe vera is a succulent with thick, fleshy leaves, and here its extract is carried in a base oil, giving a gentle, lightly scented foundation for homemade blends. It suits skincare, hair care and massage formulations where a light feel matters more than a heavy, rich texture.

Because the scent is so mild, it pairs with any essential oil you choose, such as lavender, tea tree or chamomile, without changing the aroma of the finished blend. Keep the cap closed after use to protect the oil from air.

How to use it

Use it as a carrier oil for essential oil blends, in skincare where it absorbs cleanly, in hair care formulations, and in aromatherapy products for its light, fresh scent. It blends with Lavender, Tea Tree and Chamomile. Technique tip: it makes a good base when you want the blend to smell only of the essential oil, since its own scent is close to neutral.
