Citrus Burst Blend

A five-citrus blend of lime, sweet orange, bergamot, grapefruit and lemon. It smells like a bowl of freshly zested fruit: sharp green lime and clean lemon at the top, warm sweet orange underneath, tangy grapefruit through the middle, and bergamot tying it together with its sweet, tea-like edge.

Lime brings a sharp, zesty tang, sweet orange a warm cheerfulness, bergamot a floral and slightly spicy brightness, grapefruit a refreshing lift, and lemon a clean zestiness.

How to use it

Diffuse 4 to 6 drops to freshen a kitchen or living room, add a few drops to unscented natural cleaning solutions, or dilute to 1 to 2% in a carrier oil for a bright body oil. Technique tip: all five are photosensitising, so keep skin applications for the evening, and store the bottle out of warm cupboards, since citrus oils oxidise faster than most and lose their snap within months rather than years.
