Dried Shallot
Ameen Foods Dried Shallot offers a delicate onion-like flavour with a gentle sweetness in a convenient dried form. The slices are useful for adding savoury depth to soups, sauces, rice dishes and dips without keeping fresh shallots on hand.
Culinary appeal
For a softer texture, soak the slices in water until softened, then drain and chop as needed for your recipe. In soups and other dishes with plenty of liquid, they can soften as they cook. Add gradually and adjust the quantity to your taste.
