Fennel Seeds

Fennel Seed- From Southern Europe and Asia Minor, fennel seeds are from a herb of the carrot family, called Fennel. Fennel goes back to ancient Greece, the name literally meaning ‘marathon’ in Greek (μάραθον).
Fennel seeds are edible and used to flavour meats, fish, and vegetables.
Fennel seeds taste slightly sweet and like liquorice. They have a strong herbaceous odour.
