Hair Growth Oil

A four-oil blend of tulsi, methi (fenugreek), amla and brahmi, drawn from Ayurvedic hair-oiling practice. The aroma is green and herbaceous from the tulsi, with a nutty, faintly sweet base from the fenugreek and a tart fruit note from the amla.

Tulsi oil comes from the holy basil plant, methi oil from fenugreek seeds, amla oil from the Indian gooseberry and brahmi oil from the brahmi herb. Methi imparts a natural shine, and brahmi conditions the hair and adds a smooth texture.

How to use it

Dilute it in a carrier oil such as coconut or almond, then massage it through the scalp and lengths as a pre-shampoo treatment, or leave it on overnight and wash it out in the morning, in the way traditional Ayurvedic hair oiling is done. Patch test before regular use, especially on sensitive skin. Technique tip: section the hair and work the oil in with fingertips rather than nails, then wrap the head in a warm towel for twenty minutes before washing, so the oil spreads through the hair instead of sitting on the surface.
