Lindi Pepper - Native to India, Lindi pepper is also known as Long Pepper. The use of Lindi pepper dates back to ancient India where they used it in Ayurvedic medicine. It appeared in Greece in the 5th or 6th century BCE, where it was also used medicinally.
It is often used by women during childbirth. It also has uses in cooking, and it is an ingredient in one of Pakistan’s national dishes. It can be used in Indian and Malaysian cooking, although it is incredibly rare to find it in any European dishes.
Lindi Pepper has a fruity, robust, and floral taste.
