Golden Hour Herbal Tea

Golden Hour Herbal Tea is a loose blend of chamomile, lemon balm, peppermint and rosehips. It brews a pale gold cup with the mellow, apple-like character of chamomile up front, a light citrus note from lemon balm, a cool minty edge from peppermint and a tart, fruity finish from rosehips. It is an easy, gentle cup for late afternoon or after dinner, and just as good poured over ice.

None of the ingredients comes from the tea plant, so this blend is naturally caffeine free.

How to use it

Use one heaped teaspoon per 250ml cup. Pour over water just off the boil, cover and steep for five minutes, then strain. Covering the cup keeps the peppermint and chamomile aromatics in the cup instead of escaping with the steam. Drink it plain, or with a slice of lemon or a little honey, which suits the rosehip tartness.
