Organic Chunmee Green Tea is a classic green tea made from leaves rolled into a curved, eyebrow-like shape, which is where the name comes from: chunmee means precious eyebrows. It brews a clear golden green cup with a smooth, slightly plummy sweetness, a gentle toasty note and a clean, brisk finish, a reliable everyday green tea that stands up well to a second steep.
As a true green tea, it contains naturally occurring caffeine.
How to use it
Use one teaspoon per 250ml cup. Brew with water around 80°C and steep for two to three minutes, then strain. The tightly rolled leaves give two or three infusions, each a little longer than the last. Enjoy it plain, or with a slice of lemon or a sprig of fresh mint.
